Uses

Bravecto is used to kill flea and prevents flea infestations for 12 weeks. Bravecto kills black-legged ticks for 12 weeks and American Dog ticks for 8 weeks.

Bravecto is a topical solution for cats prescribed by veterinarians to kill adult fleas and ticks including black-legged ticks and American dog ticks. It may also help to prevent and treat flea infestations. This topical medication is designed with an easy applicator that makes application extra easy for you and your cat.

Precautions

Use with caution in cats with a history of neurological abnormalities as these have been reported in cats receiving Bravecto, even in cats without a history of neurological abnormalities. Bravecto has not been shown to be effective for 12-weeks duration in kittens less than 6 months of age. Bravecto is not effective against American Dog Ticks beyond 8 weeks after dosing.
